Popis materiálu
Classroom Mini-Missions: First Aid – Junior Rescuers is a ready-to-use set of 30 short, scenario-based first aid activities for Grades 4–6.
Instead of memorizing long lists of rules, students work with realistic situations they may encounter at school, at home, on the playground, during sports, or on a trip. They observe what is happening, identify risks, decide what should happen first, choose when to call an adult or emergency services, and adjust their response when the situation changes.
The activities focus on practical decision-making rather than complex medical terminology or diagnosis. Students practise recognizing unsafe situations, responding to bleeding and burns, identifying abnormal breathing, understanding the basic role of an AED, recognizing choking and seizures, responding to head injuries, heat-related illness and hypothermia, and working together in more complex emergency scenarios.
